The new project for including the food safety management
system to UNI EN ISO 22000 standards was started.
What is ISO 22000?
ISO 22000 is an international standard that defines
the requirements of a food hygiene and safety
management system intended for all organisations
in the food chain, from producers to consumers.
The standard combines elements generally acknowledged
as fundamental for guaranteeing safety and hygiene
inside the food chain, including:
• Interactive communication;
• Management of systems;
• Control of food hygiene and safety risks
through HACCP plans and
prerequisite programmes;
• Constant improvement and upgrading of
the environmental hygiene and
safety management system. |
